With a well-structured leadership, NCCF remains the most
vibrant and well organized youth body in Nigeria today. It helps Christian
corpers to live and relate for proper spiritual and moral growth. NCCF has a
structure that if any corper can subject to will find his/her service to God
and father's land fulfilling. Let me share my unforgettable experience as a
Jesus Corper
With the crowd of corpers that are new to the system, NCCF
helps in filling all the forms properly and direct you to the next place to go until you're through. Charging of phones is always free at NCCF tent. Whenever you run out of cash, NCCF is always there for you. Just submit your ATM card, they will save you the stress of taking permission to go out and your pin is surely save with them. Even after the camp, the fellowship will still guide in registration at the LG, directing new corps members to their PPAs
& opening their account. These relieves some people that are not used to the stress
which an average Nigerian see as normal.
2. PROMPT INFORMATION
Many useful information about what and when to do what from
beginning of the camp till the end of your service year will be communicated
mostly to you in d evening fellowship, to make your service year less
stressful.
3. ACCOMMODATION AFTER CAMP
Absolutely, family house is a wonderful place to be, a place
where the spirit of oneness is being embraced. A place where the strength of
spiritual growth can never be compromised. It's not an exaggeration that the
day you go to your PPA (Place of Primary Assignment) from camp is always a
stressful day, also with great fear of where you are going. NCCF will send bus
to camp from different zones to convey corpers free to their destination and
the NCCF family house is always open for anybody to live.
4. MORAL AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH
For those that lived in the family house, what I'm saying
will not sound strange. NCCF helped corps members to have a better relationship
with their maker with sound biblical doctrine being taught. NCCF helped to
change every evil perception and plan for or about NYSC. Many see NYSC as a
free place for immoralities and also to meet with new people. We have rules we
call ancient landmarks in the family house which has helped millions of corps
members staying connected to God.
5. TALENT DISCOVERY
NCCF helps in harnessing spiritual and social lives. In
fact, it’s an avenue to have a family in a distant land. NCCF will help u to
discover yourself right from the camp. You are free to join any unit and develop
yourself in anything your heart desire. There are some that confess that it's
NCCF that help them to discover their talent/spiritual gifts in doing what they are doing.
Drama, Choir, Bible teaching, Instrumentalist, Ushering and so on........
6. LEADERSHIP
Looking at d way duties and functions of executives are been
done, you will think that they have been there for years, whereas it’s just by
training and the divine guidance of the holy spirit. By the grace of God I was
so close to the executives which helps me to really know a lot about what it
takes to serve as an executive in NCCF. The experience was so wonderful. National
conference, state rugged, state conference, zonal rugged, and the GENCO is a
great experience that prepare you for future executive life.
7. FAMILY SETTING
The family setting of the family house is just so wonderful.
Where you have to see 'Papa' as your father no matter his age. It helps one to
be humble and respect authorities. It prepares you for the future family you
are going into. As a Mama you will learn how to cook, take care of many people
and be submissive to the order of your husband. As Uncle you learn to be a
disciplinarian, to keep records, relate with people and so on.....
8. RURAL RUGGED
NCCF is a vibrant force in the service of God and Humanity.
Several forgotten villages have been reached by NCCF, thus restoring hope to
the hopeless and putting smiles on the face of the less privileged. Our core
vision "RURAL RUGGED EVANGELISM" will expose you and help you to
experience the type of life other people are living. You are happy when you
minister to the less privileged in word of God, which is the great commandment
to every Christian while also ministering to their social, physical, medical and
psychological needs. You will be happy with the level of Joy the villagers feel
within those few days.
These and many more are the reason I always thank God for
NCCF.
9. THE FAMILY SONG
This song mean so much to us as a family. It constantly
reminds you of the kind of love that only NCCF can give to you as a corps
members in the body of Christ. You will sing the song on camp every day after
fellowships and also in the family house. The wordings of the song are so true
and real that after your service year, you will actually be glad to be a part
of the great family called N.C.C.F.

So closely knitted into one......
They have taken me into their arms and I'm so glad to be....
A part of this great family.
10. IN CONCLUSION
NCCF will be so glad to receive you with open arms
irrespective of who you are (your colour, tribe, background, denomination, and
so on......) in any state of the federation including FCT.
It is always our song and our prayer that
NCCF will never die..........
